This is inarguable fact! If you want to redefine the beginning of life then you must make that law universal. Often it is the women who would choose abortion that would force the father to pay for doctor visits.. But then.. if there is no life then it's not his problem is it? I just want consistancy.flounderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07507960686934385695noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4979384834540064137.post-57091517015223272472010-02-08T18:09:06.867-05:002010-02-08T18:09:06.867-05:00I went ahead and read the Jimmy Strawn Plan versio...I went ahead and read the Jimmy Strawn Plan version of Abortion opinion and I actually am pretty close to that.

Most pro-choicers (not like the loud people on interview shows) are like me - we believe in individual choice but most people do not think abortion should be used at some late stage or for birth control.

Gallup polling (2008) shows that only 21% think there should be abortion under ANY circumstances. While 57% think it should be illegal under SOME circumstances.

So mainstream America is basically non-extreme pro-choice - think for yourself but there is a limit that we can probably agree on.

Again - why would you want it any different than this? Sounds like you are taking some loud minority and demonizing the entire pro-choice movement that is definitely NOT "pushing" abortion as I have shown here.

That is why I call myself a Libertarian Liberal.Silence DoGoodnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4979384834540064137.post-48731531740122216472010-02-08T12:58:46.596-05:002010-02-08T12:58:46.596-05:00All of your house-of-cards logic relies on your pe...All of your house-of-cards logic relies on your personal belief that life starts at conception.

Not everyone belives this. As usual, you assume the radical right christian view is the only reasonable one. Fortunately, this country was founded on giving people freedom of religious belief.

Let me broaden your horizon: There are people who do not belive that life starts at conception or do not know for sure. For these people, they reserve the right to make up their own mind. Can you imagine!

I do not believe that the radical christian right wing core of the conservative movement should be pushing to make what they belive part of law to be forced on others.

Right now you can get an abortion or not - it is your choice. Why would you wish to change that unless you fall in with thinking that goveremnt should tell everyone to do what you believe?

Again the true face and agenda of the racical right christians are revealed. And it has nothing to do with freedom.Silence DoGoodnoreply@blogger.com
